My first musical influence was no other, than my dad Larry Lynne. The first time I sang in public was at a family gathering that had a Karaoke. I told my dad that I was going to go up and sing a song, and he begged me not to embarrass myself, but I did it anyway (of course I had a beer or two beneath my belt). When I finished my song, my dad had a bit of a tear in his eye, when he said….”It took you twenty years to show me you could do that????” It was on than, my secret was out and my dad was determined to get me on stage. I started in 1996 as a guest vocalist with Larry Lynne & Bootlegger and Sky Harbor. I joined Active Duty Army in 1997 and moved away from Wisconsin, where I continued my vocal experience in my spare time, singing with The Beale Street Blues Band, 311 Band, Three Dog Band and many others throughout the Midwest and Southern United States. As of now, I’m still in the military, a little closer to home these days and I still continue singing with local bands, and of course, wherever my dad has his guitar. I’m lucky, not only to have been able to perform with Milwaukee Legend, Larry Lynne, but to be able to be a part of such a team, where the talent is incomparable. I’ve been honored to share the stage with Leroy Zimdars, Nicole Sweet, Mark Lansing, Rockin Robin, and now Jon Dymond, Pat Michaels and James Aubrey. Talk about having the best of the best!!!!! Of course all this would still be a dream if I didn’t have the support of my entire family, who always tell me the truth (especially Steve & Matt), my husband Scott, daughter Leah, son Stratlyn, and the newest addition Stella, and of course the past, present and future Soldiers that I serve with. Thanks everyone for giving me the opportunity to entertain you.
